Carrefour will officially release its first automated replenishment device dubbed ‘Pikit’ (ARD) in France.

  • The device’s functionalities resemble Amazon Fresh’s Dash or Auchan’s Izy (Hiku): bar-code scanner, voice recognition; it works via Wi-Fi in pair with an App installed on a smart-device.
  • The device retails at EUR59.9 and is already visible on the retailer’s drive platform.
  • This is Carrefour’s second ARD following a similar launch in Belgium with the device dubbed ‘Connected Kitchen’.
