Biedronka announced that starting mid August  it will open cinemas that can hold up to 300 people near its stores in several small cities where there are no cinemas.

  • The cinemas will play popular movies in the recent years such as “Avatar”, “Spiderman”, “Inglorious bastards”, “Terminator”, etc.
  • The schedule is available on dedicated website
  • Entry will be free of charge.
  • The retailer ran a similar pilot initiative during 2013

The initiative reflects that Biedronka aims to increase shopper footfall and consumer awareness in the smaller communities where it operates.
