Amazon UK announces a new partnership with Booths to expand its UK grocery offering, that will see the Lancashire-based supermarket’s goods offered to Southern customers for the first time. Amazon Fresh will offer a “comprehensive selection” of Booths products including ready meals, cheeses and deli products to customers in eligible postcodes in London and the South-East. Booths currently has 28 brick and mortar stores, mainly in the north-west of England.
Amazon launched its “Fresh” service in the UK last year, and already provides products from Morrisons and the recently-acquired Whole Foods.
