Alibaba’s cross-border platform Tmall Global is introducing new services to help international brands manage their entry into China in a more efficient and low-risk way. Tmall Global now offers an overseas fulfilment solution and an import program to support brands’ coming into the market.
Tmall Overseas Fulfillment (TOF) is a low-cost and low-risk solution for smaller brands to test the water before making a full entry into China. It allows brands to place products at the nearest Tmall Global fulfilment centre for sale on the platform. The TOF team offers brands marketing advice and tools to help boost awareness. Currently, TOF is available in the U.S., Japan, South Korea and will expand into Europe later this year.
Brands and suppliers can also leverage Tmall Global’s new Centralized Import Procurement program, which leverages six warehouses around the globe to source goods for all of the online and offline outlets within the Alibaba ecosystem.
